Mr. Ning Ma founded Lingfeng Capital and has served as the Founding Partner since 2015. From 2002 to 2015, Mr. Ning Ma served as a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, Co-Head of Financial Institutions Equity Research of Goldman Sachs (Asia), and Head of China Equity Research, overseeing Greater China's finance, technology, semiconductors, Internet, and real estate equity research. He was also a Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific Client and Business Standards Committee member. Mr. Ning Ma has played a crucial role in landmark IPO and refinancing deals of nearly twenty financial institutions in Greater China, Japan, and other countries. He has organized multiple Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific FinTech Conferences and China Investment Summits, and has been advising Asia’s top tech companies’ fintech business for over 15 years.

Dr. Ming Shu is the Founding Partner of Lingfeng Capital. He brings 25 years of global investment and management experience, including nearly 20 years of direct investment experience in China & Asia Pacific. Previously, he was the Group Vice President in charge of M&A in SF Express, the Head of the Greater China and member of the Asia-Pacific Investment Committee in Henderson Global Investors, and an Associate in Goldman Sachs PIA. Dr. Ming Shu has extensive operational experience as a senior executive in multinational financial institutions and China-originated global tech giants. He served as the CEO of the Financial Service Business Group at SF Express. Prior to SF Express, he was a member of the Global Leadership Team of Alibaba, the Chief Strategy Officer of Ant Financial, and the Chief Operations Officer at Henderson Global Investors Asia. Dr. Ming Shu is the founding Board member of the CFA Institute’s Beijing Chapter, the first Chapter in China, and is now serving as Vice Chairman of the Board. He was twice elected as the President Council Representative for the CFA APEC North and Oceania Region. Dr. Ming Shu has joined the global CFA Board of Governors meetings since September 2019.

Dr. Lu brings over twenty years of equity research and investment experience in the semiconductor and communication industries in mainland China, Taiwan, and the United States. From 2020 to 2023, Dr. Lu served as the Operating Partner of Hillhouse Capital. From 2003 to 2019, he worked as a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs and as an Analyst specializing in the Asian semiconductor and Communications industries. During his 15-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, he participated in research on the semiconductor and communications industries in mainland China and Taiwan, covering stocks such as TSMC, MediaTek, and China Mobile, among others. He was also engaged in the listing and financing of a dozen technology companies. Before that, he worked as a US semiconductor Analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase's San Francisco office, covering the US semiconductor and semiconductor equipment stocks. Before that, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University's North Shore Teaching Hospital and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he researched radio frequency electronics and magnetic resonance imaging signal processing. He has invented multiple imaging antennas and holds a national patent.

Mingto Yu brings extensive experience in corporate governance, financial strategy planning and management in the finance and technology industries. Mingto served as the Vice Chairman of Egis Corporation. Previously, he worked as Xiaomi Technology’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Xiaomi, he worked as the Chief Financial Officer, Spokesperson, as well as Head of the Human Resources of MediaTek. Meanwhile, he was the company’s China General manager. Mingto has accompanied Xiaomi and MediaTek during the companies’ crucial growth stages. Prior to that, he worked as a Financial Manager at TSMC, where he participated in corporate M&A. Mingto works as a Consultant and Director of many tech start-ups. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently an independent director of Liwang Electronics and Dongjie Technology and a director of the Wharton Business School Asia Alumni Association.

Dr. Chen currently serves as a director of NTUC INCOME Insurance and Fullerton Fund Management in Singapore. Previously, Dr. Chen served as the CEO of Asia Pacific ex-Japan at Dimensional Fund Management Co., Ltd. from 2012 to 2020. Before joining Dimensional, Dr. Chen worked as the President of Global Investment Management at Morningstar, overseeing the institution’s investment management, investment consulting, and pension management in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia with approximately US$190 billion in asset under management. In 2012, Dr. Chen Peng won the Academic Thought Leadership Award from the Retirement Income Industry Association. Dr. Chen is also the co-inventor of two U.S. patents.

Ms. Chen is a seasoned corporate finance and real estate expert with over 20 years of experience working for global financial institutions and large corporations. Until January 2022, she was the vice president of a large real estate conglomerate in charge of international capital markets and investments. In that capacity she oversaw the company’s overseas fundraising activities, led international strategic negotiations and investments in the real estate, new energy vehicle development and movie production and online media industries. She also acted as the CFO for a NYSE-listed online real estate services company from 2014-2017 overseeing capital markets, financial reporting, IR and compliance functions for the company. Ms. Chen started her career in investment banking in New York and moved to Hong Kong in 2006 to help build Merrill Lynch’s real estate franchise in Asia. She spent 15 years advising US and Asian clients on capital markets and strategic activities and held the roles of Head of Asia Real Estate Group and Head of Corporate Finance Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2012-2014, managing over 70 investment banking professionals.

Mr. Li Yuan once worked at JPMorgan Chase and Citibank in corporate M&As, strategic planning and corporate finance businesses. In 2007, he returned to China and served as General Manager of HSBC’s Personal Finance Department, responsible for the strategic planning of retail banking. In this role, he effectively promoted the establishment of HSBC's business outlets in the Chinese mainland. Prior to that, Mr. Li Yuan worked as MasterCard’s General Manager for the Greater China Region and was in charge of market development, marketing and M&As. He also served as an advisor for MasterCard Asia/Pacific and an independent director of the bulk commodity warehouse receipt publicity platform of the China (Shanghai) Piot Free Trade Zone. Mr. Li Yuan is currently Ripple’s Chief Representative for the Greater China Region.

Mr. Tan Guofeng has 15 years of experience in fintech. He once worked for IBM as a senior customer representative at its Greater China Finance Division and led a team to participate in banking asset and liability management, supply chain finance, liquidity risks and Basel II, internal transfer pricing, as well as PBoC small- and large-sum payment, anti-money laundering management consulting and system services. Later, he joined Visa and served as its Chinese Business Development Director, providing business support and management consulting services to leading card issuers in China. He later joined BIC and became its partner, chiefly responsible for investment in the TMT field. From 2015 to 2017, he served as a partner of Cybernaut Group and took charge of its industrial investment, M&As and so on. Mr. Tan Guofeng is a member of KVIC’s China Advisory Committee and a member of the B20 Finance Working Committee (2016-2019) of the G20.

Ms. Tina Tsou brings over twenty years of experience in technology development and strategic partnerships. Her career spans significant contributions to both startups and established tech giants, where she has been pivotal in driving advancements in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and next-gen networking solutions. Currently, Ms. Tsou serves as the Director of Infrastructure Ecosystem at Arm, a globally renowned semiconductor design and software company. Prior to Arm, she has held positions as a Digital Domain Expert at Philips Lighting. She has also worked at Huawei, where she served as a Principal Engineer of the Fixed Network BU, a Principal Engineer of the IP BU, Futurewei Technologies (Huawei USA), and a Senior Staff Engineer of the Fixed Network BU, among others.

Yong Ying brings over 25 years of experience across insurance, banking, investment, technology industries, and international organizations. He used to head the sales division of People’s Insurance Company of China and has taken executive roles in China Minsheng Bank and Huatai Insurance Group. Prior to joining the companies above, Yong Ying worked at SanPower Group as Group Vice President, overseeing strategic investment, international and domestic M&A, as well as the group’s big data platforms. In addition, he was a recent Head of the Insurance Ministry at the Silkroad Industry and Finance Alliance. He also advises the World Finance Forum and global insurers, such as STARR, Chubb, and Aon, on China’s fintech theme.

Nicole joined Lingfeng in 2022. At Lingfeng Capital, she is responsible for Web 3.0 thematic investments. Before Lingfeng, Nicole invested and partnered with over 100 leading crypto companies with a combined circulating market cap of $80bn. Nicole has strong relationships with global top crypto funds, VCs, incubators, and Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems. Prior to her crypto-related experience, Nicole worked in institutional M&A and Management Consulting capacities.

Before joining Lingfeng Capital, Yves served as a consultant at KPMG Corporate Finance department, supporting the structuring and execution of transactions, including equity fundraising, joint-venture set up, acquisitions, and disposal. Prior to that, he worked at the investment banking division in BNP Paribas, assisting such state-owned companies as State Grid and Beijing Gas to complete an acquisition in Europe.

Worked in NEWHOPE GROUP Investment and Strategy Department，Successfully completed more than 3 investment projects with a total amount of more than 2 billion RMB. Having the ability of multi-channel project acquisition, project independent judgment and screening, and experience in commercial due diligence and part of financial due diligence, valuation modeling and transaction structure design Worked in Frees Fund and assisted in writing in-depth research reports by interviewing the founders with multiple targets in the consumer segmentation field. Worked in Cowin Capital, participated in project analysis, interviews and business due diligence of several TMT projects, and assisted in writing investment project report.

Ms. Yuan GAO worked in leading international law firms before joining Lingfeng and has approximately 10 years of legal experience in domestic and overseas private equity investment fund establishment, fund investment and private equity financing, venture capital, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets areas. Ms. Gao is qualified in both New York and China.

Ivy Zhang joined Lingfeng in January 2022. Ms. Zhang has several years of accounting and risk control work experience with VC funds. She worked as financial controller with eWTP Tech Innovation Fund and risk control director with Genertec Venture Capital. She also has 10 years of FSI assurance and consulting work experience with big four firms in China, UK and Malta.

Ms. Lo has over 10 years of experience in operation and management of internationally renowned institutions and is familiar with the operation and management of investment institutions. Prior to joining LingFeng Capital, Ms. Lo was a senior management manager at Matthews Global (HK) and as an Executive assistant in WeLend, Henderson Global and other companies.

Hongrui has sufficient administration experience in private equity firms. She is fully responsible for administrative support, operation management, and IT management.

Ming previously worked at Lonch Group as accountant. She has solid experiences in preparing management reports and financial reports. 

Xiaoming Wu joined Lingfeng in 2022. Xiaoming is responsible for legal affairs such as due diligence and transaction documents and provides support for the company's legal operation and compliance affairs. Before joined Lingfeng, Xiaoming had practiced at many first-tier law firms in China.

Ms. Cao has 2 years of experience in private equity and secondary market research. She has worked in the Strategy Department of an internet company and a well-known domestic securities company, where she participated in primary investment due diligence, secondary market research, and competitive analysis.

Mr. Ma has experience in investment research and computer science. He is strong at project research, technical feasibility study, data analysis, and investment research. He has a deep understanding of Web 3.0 and AI.
